I made my own little screen printing lab here in my dorm room (which is why I really need to get a steady job, so I can have a real studio {or at least another room} to do these sorts of things in :p)
Here's some pictures of the process.
Here's the photo emulsion being swept onto the screen
My little logo transparency, an envelope, and some inks. I'm debating on whether or not to stick with classic black, or to use a nice dark maroon or red to contrast the lime-y color of the envelopes.
My image cooking. Right now I'm waiting for the timer to go off, 45 minutes is almost up!
My makeshift lighting center. Oooo baby!
Alarm just rang, time to move the screen to the tub :)
Where do you print your logo (or imgage) to be burned on the screen???
ReplyDeleteI went to Fedex and got it printed in b/w on transparency paper. Just go in and say you want to print on clear paper, and they'll bring out one that's 8.5 x 11".
ReplyDeleteOnly costs 75 cents :)
and then what do you do???
ReplyDeletei mean i know the process, but I just wanna know for sure and concrete hahahahaha
what do you do with the print on clear sheet???
